Brief for the Adventure: Lady Sophia has received warning that King Vaelric’s undead servants are moving to assassinate Archivist-Librarian Osric, a senior keeper of the Great Library of the Churches Guild. Osric has uncovered some of the original terms of the ancient agreement between the Three Spiritual Dragons and King Vaelric. The librarian is attempting to activate an ancient Churches Guild artifact, The Auric Reliquary of Final Petition, to send a message directly to Katanal, the Gold Dragon. The ritual will take time. During that time, Vaelric’s forces will come to silence him. The party must defend the librarian, protect the artifact, and prevent the undead from interrupting the message.
