Read I

NOTES Enables the caster to comprehend a page of text which can be in any runic, hieroglyphic or ideogram language. The caster learns the most faithful translation as if they knew the language. This spell allows the caster to read the language therefore the caster must be able to see the written text, touch the indents in the case of a tactile text such as Braille and so forth.
Unlock I

NOTES Once this spell has been cast on an object, it will say the words if it is moved in any way, even if it is the caster who disturbs it.The object will only say the words once.
Clue I

CLUE!"EFFECTGives the caster half the letters of the password of a PUZZLE WALL. NOTESThis spell only gives the caster a clue to solving the magical word puzzles created by the spell PUZZLE WALL. The spell provides every other letter of the command word, starting with the second. Multiple CLUE spells have no additional effect.
Locate I-II

VOCALS (Moderate) "I call upon the powers of (Dragon) to reveal to me if (Object) has passed this way! LOCATE MODERATE!"EFFECT (Moderate) The caster is able to detect whether a specified, inanimate object has passed through an area within 60’ of the caster within the last week, and whichdirection it was travelling when it passed through. VOCALS (Major) "I call upon the powers of (Dragon) to reveal to me where lies the (Object/Creature) I seek! LOCATE MAJOR!"EFFECT (Major) The caster is able to determine the direction to a specified creature with a life force, or the direction and distance to a specified inanimate object. NOTES If the target is not accurately described or specified then this spell will reveal information for the closest match to the information used. For example if used to locate the key to a locked door it may reveal the nearest key, not necessarily the correct key for the door, if the caster is not careful enough.Using the name of the target in the case of a creature or noting a unique feature of an object is usually sufficient to avoid such misinformation.This spell cannot locate a creature who does not possess a life force or a physical body.
Dragon Eye I

Send forth an eye to let me see what it sees! DRAGON EYE!"EFFECTCreates a mobile invisible eye through which the caster can see. NOTES The eye created by this spell is under the control of the caster whilst the caster is concentrating on it. If the caster stops concentrating, takes damage or directs the eye more than 60’ away, the spell ends.The eye cannot pass through solid objects or creatures with a life force.

VOCALS (Moderate) "By the power of the (Dragon), answer me these questions! [ASK QUESTIONS]! QUESTION MODERATE!"EFFECT (Moderate) Enables the caster to ask three questions of an inanimate object and receive YES/NO/DON’T KNOW answers. VOCALS (Major) "By the power of the (Dragon), Magic Item answer me these questions! [ASK QUESTIONS]! QUESTION MODERATE!"EFFECT (Major) Enables the caster to ask three questions of a Focussed Magical object and receive a short sentence or UNKNOWN as an answer. NOTES QUESTION Moderate temporarily places a Life Force into an inanimate object which gives the object a memory of what went on in it’s immediate surroundings, it can only give answers appropriately. QUESTION Major temporarily converts the magical aura within a Focussed Magical item into a Life force. These too can only answer question on their immediate surroundings.
Artefact Study I

Once complete the caster must maintain contact with the target and continue to concentrate.VOCALS "With the power of the (Dragon), let the history of this object be known to me! ARTEFACT STUDY!"EFFECT Enables the caster to sit and study an object and learn it's entire history. NOTES This spell cannot be cast on creatures with a Life Force. Most items have very boring histories, for instance a rock has an extremely long and un-exciting history which may occasionally contain an odd interesting moment in it. Magical artefacts are different however. Learning the history of one of these items enables you to discover what the object’s Activation and De-Activation phrases are, what it can do, who made it and so on.Learning the entire history takes as long as the Ref requires to tell caster, therefore if the caster leaves the Ref while it is still being explained they may need to cast again to gain all the information. If however the Ref is called away for reasons beyond the casters control they are encouraged to be understanding, as the caster may otherwise have remained for all of the information
